World of Warcraft (PC-MAC)

"I've been having fun in this game since release. While I wish they'd add some new things at lower levels, I can't really complain - I've played enough to be able to enjoy high end as well."

Characters:

Chirri, Level 80 Human Priest —

Cidra, Level 70 Night Elf Hunter —

Cinnamint, Level 51 Gnome Mage —

Lethe, Level 66 Night Elf Rogue —

Lindri, Level 70 Night Elf Priest —

Twippy, Level 64 Gnome Warlock —

Lord of the Rings Online (PC)

"Something about the graphics and camera settings made me motion sick. I never got far into the game - lore and history seemed interesting, char design was disappointing."

Age of Conan (PC)

"I had a decent time, despite the bugginess... but there wasn't quite enough to keep me around for the subscription price."

Asheron's Call (PC)

"Didn't like the graphics, didn't like the players I encountered, didn't enjoy the classes I played. Not my thing."

Asheron's Call 2 (PC)

"Same as my thoughts on the first game... but uglier."

City of Heroes (PC)

"I had fun, regardless of what I did in this game. Of course the char creation was the best part, but the first 10 levels were fun too. Sadly, not enough variety as you progressed."

City of Villains (PC)

"Same as City of Heroes. Fun, but repetitive instances."

Everquest (PC)

"Introduced me to MMO's, and was the first game that had a chance to pull me in. I can't do text based games, I needed a 3D environment. GREAT fun during Classic, Kunark, and some of Velious! PoK evil."

Characters:

Vilae, —

Everquest II (PC)

"Don't like the graphics, don't like the simplified version of EQ Classic. I might have enjoyed it more, of more of my friends were in it to entertain me... but all but 1 simply didn't enjoy it enough."

Final Fantasy XI Online (PC)

"Adorable game, but wheeling and dealing on the AH, NPC camping and botting, and general player rudeness drove me away (perhaps it was bad luck). None of my friends stuck around either."

Guild Wars (PC)

"The three factions are interesting, but EotN is great fun for me. I can play with a friend, or I can go in there all alone and still have some fun. Holidays are cool, and the graphics are gorgeous."

Lineage II (PC)

"Bots, gold farmers, jerks - not my kind of environment. Absolutely no CS in regards to those gripes. Beautiful graphics, interesting quests."

MapleStory (PC)

"Cute, addicting, nice people and free. I payed, only because I liked the option to make my character unique and cute, but the option was very viable not to pay. Haven't kept up, but did enjoy it."

Myst Online: Uru Live (PC)

"It never did happen like they advertised. Extremely disappointed. (unless a new one will be coming out I haven't heard about, in which case, I'm "Anticipating" them doing what they promised."

Neopets (PC)

"Simple, mindless, cute. Totally prefer this site without other people. I like hopping between NPC shops and haggling, then selling uncommon items in my own shop. Collecting is fun, too."

Pirates of the Caribbean (PC)

"The benefits for paying for this game do not outweigh the lack of attention payed to this game by it's developers. I can understand for the free version, but there didn't seem much incentive to pay."

Rock Band (X360)

"Fun for the masses, TOGETHER! If you have the coordination and love music, this is a fantastic game. I only wish I could play with a full band more often!"

Second Life (PC)

"Almost empty game world, character customization felt very limited despite being open ended - I don't even understand how that's possible. Clubs and bars with cattiness and drama... not my thing."

Sim City (ATST)

"It's a classic. I sucked at each and every one of them, but I always had fun doing it! Well, I suppose I got better as I got older. One of the games I grew up with, and played each incarnation."

Spore (PC-MAC)

"Extremely addictive, though once I broke free, I really haven't felt a need to go back. Still, I had a great time playing it, and I know it's there when I need it. A game for a quiet evening."

Star Trek Online (PC)

"There aren't enough Sci-Fi games out there with a friendly, social atmosphere. I can't say how this one will turn out, but I'm very interesting what they do with this game."

Star Wars Galaxies (PC)

"LOVED this game prior to adding the Jedi class. Every single change after that couldn't make up for the rampant botting, and complete lack of socialization among players. Holocrons are evil."

Stargate Worlds (PC)

"Not sure what else to say. :)"

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes (PC)

"I had fun with the game, but couldn't find people to consistently play with. Not hugely impressed with the graphics - "super realism" always fails to excite me in new games. Too bad it was SO buggy."

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (PC)

"I like how the classes are visually distinct, I've enjoyed open world PvP, and I really, really like how it feels like I'm part of the War from level 1, killing my racial enemy, rather than wildlife."

Characters:

Touched, Level 17 Chaos Zealot —

Whirled

"Lots of fun, mindless games. Short term entertainment, repeated, becomes long term entertainment. Easy to pick up, easy to put down. No guilt, and cute all over."
