It only took nearly 10 months, but I've now got two level 80 characters.
Twippy, my gnome warlock, made 80 yesterday. I'm quite pleased with her, as I'm generally fond of gnomes, and spell casters in particular. She's an engineer and tailor, and wears her goggles with pride. She'll be very sad to upgrade out of them, because I feel that goggles are the perfect equipment for any gnome.
Now I just need to learn how to play her with the big kids, and not embarrass herself in groups. And possibly raids, if she can find people to run with.
