Doing the Impossible: Tanking Razuvious

Ok, it's not impossible. Obviously, in order to progress through Naxx 25, Priests are capable of (and currently required to) tank Instructor Razuvious for their guilds or PuG'd runs. We've tried this twice before - once as an afterthought, allowing my Priest (Holy healing mistake) and a guild Shadow specced Priest to take a look at what the fight would entail, once with another guild Holy Priest.

This last Sunday, we succeeded. I forget whether it took two or three tries, but we got the jerk down. And then proceeded to clear the rest of the wing.

I'm not certain why I'm always one of the Priests used for MCing, I think the last two times we had a total of three priests available... perhaps it's my own fault for being the Priest with the most attempts under my belt! I will say it was something of a rush to finally succeed. It was a guild first, so I know there was a lot of congratulations going around over Vent and in raid chat, but I was honestly oblivious to it while I got over the roaring in my ears and slightly cramping hands. I think all I was aware of, in the end, were a few tells I got.

It was a good night for us.
