Still a Bitch...

...but slightly more friendly. After two nights with absolutely nothing but cloaks dropping, his royal cold assness deigned to drop a staff. Looks like a Scythe and on use gives a nice little snow aura - I've wanted one for a year but I get shitty rolls. Part of why I'm not a fan of the free for all "If you want it, roll for it" mentality.

So we did another 15 or so tries, and got the staff. I won. I was pleased. My bank is shrieking in agony, but ask me if I care. Still no pet. Of the five of us, only two still want the pet on our mains. Of course, it sort of works out - only the two of us have any alts worth really mentioning. We've both got about five alternate characters who can offer summons up.

Others have promised to help in the past, but they're all busy doing other things. My own guy insists on watching his precious TV before bed every night, right about the time we start playing with Ahune... and he's got three summons to offer, but won't. Apparently it's all on my head, this year. Mildly frustrating, since he's RIGHT HERE. But what can you do? Think catty, catty thoughts about him, that's what.

But walking away with the staff - it was a pleasant bonus, I suppose. A week and a half left to try and get the ******* pet.
